Meldy’s was a perfect food trip starter for us on our night in Bantayan Island.
Personally, I was amazed when more than one local actually recommended it to us.
However, when you search for them online, there were also some negative reviews that mentioned issues with cleanliness, availability of certain dishes, and overcooked seafood. But these were written years ago by foreigners.
That is why I believe, foreigners may need to manage their expectations as this is a typical eatery set-up of Filipinos, but local patrons attest that it is truly one of the best in the area commending it to be a great option for your meals in Sta. Fe.
Overall, Meldy’s Eatery seems to be a decent option for those looking for affordable Filipino cuisine, especially grilled seafood, and meat.
